“I first want to thank all of you for the support you have given me during my four terms serving you as your Conservative Republican Representative to House District 14. It has been an honor and I humbly ask for your continued support as I run to become your local State Senator in the upcoming 2024 election.” –Rep. Denley Loge.
I am Denley Loge, a 1968 graduate of St. Regis, Montana and have a BA in Geography from the University of Montana. During my working years, I spent 17 years building highways around Montana. In 1986, I purchased the family ranch from my parents, which I continue to operate. In 1986, I went to work for the Montana Department of Transportation in Highway maintenance on much of the same highways I built until I retired in 2015.
During my lifetime I have been involved in and care passionately about wildlife, timber, water, and land use issues. I have been an active livestock grazing permit holder as well as owner of numerous water rights.
After four terms serving as your local State Representative for House District 14, I am now running to continue to listen and serve your as your local State Senator for SD 45 and build on the success we Republicans have made working alongside our Republican Governor.
During the 2021 and 2023 Legislative sessions, I was pleased to support major legislation that provided tax relief to our small businesses and families, protected our gun rights, reformed and held our health departments accountable, and supported technical training and apprenticeship programs for Montana workers. We held the line on spending, opposed tax increases, and produced a balanced budget. The number of full-time public employees were cut in most agencies, thereby reducing government. Regulations were reviewed with some streamlined to help build a stronger economy and we made successful progress on natural resource utilization, wildlife management, predator control, and increased public access.
We still have more work to do this next Legislative session. Our economy is always a concern and we need to maintain our strong economy, protect and create more good paying jobs for Montanans, both in natural resources and tourism. We need to address future energy needs, supplies, and meet our core infrastructure needs. Our court systems are being questioned more and more these last few years so there will be a need to dig into this issue. I am honored to listen and represent you, to put your concerns first, and I humbly ask for your vote so we can work together to deliver more commonsense conservative solutions for Montana.
Please feel free to contact me with any concerns or ideas for future legislation.
Sincerely,
Denley Loge
